François d’Orléans has his passion for gardens already since childhood. At the age of 12 he won his first award for his garden in Preparatory school in England.

After graduation from Landscape Architecture School in Spain 15 years ago François worked with world renown Landscape Architect Louis Benech in Paris, where he took responsibility for the Greek and Swiss gardens. Since he started his solo career he counts gardens in Belgium, France, Germany and Spain to his portfolio.

Through François experience in different zones, from the hard climate of Madrid to the rainy and fertile hills of Somerset, he can therefore create gardens anywhere from the rocky soil of the Baleares to the skiing slope of Gstaad.

François has a strong sense of space analysis, and a large knowledge of plants and with an ecological/economical idea of what a garden should be, he will design something unique that will integrate into the landscape using as much as possible the local flora.
